REPLACEMENT OF WELDED VALVES IN NGPT (USSC) & DAS ISLAND – ADNOC, UAE

The Das Island plant produces about 6 million tonnes per annum of LNG at its facilities, which first came on stream in 1977, making the plant the oldest in the Arab world after Algeria’s Arzew plant.

ADNOC LNG said the Das Island rejuvenation project was one of multiple capital projects that the company was undertaking over the next three years to further upgrade its production assets and “maintain its longstanding position as a reliable and responsible” global energy supplier.

JOHAN SVERDRUP, JOHAN CASTBERG, MONGSTAD, ASGARD, GUDRUN, GULLFAKS, NJORD, OSEBERG, SNORRE, STATFJORD, TROLL, KARSTO…

Johan Sverdrup is the third largest oil field on the Norwegian continental shelf, and a major supplier of energy to Europe. The entire field is now on stream, and accounts for roughly a quarter of Norway’s oil production. It also has some of the lowest CO2 emissions of any oil field in the world.

The Johan Castberg field is located approx. 100 kilometres north of the Snøhvit field in the Barents Sea. The resource base for developing the Johan Castberg field consists of the three oil discoveries Skrugard, Havis and Drivis, all of which are located in production licence 532. The field is scheduled to start up in Q4 2024, and will produce for 30 years.

Mongstad -The refinery, the processing plants and terminals transform crude oil and natural gas into everyday commodities such as petrol, diesel, heating oil and consumer-ready natural gas.

Asgard – Water depth in the area is 240-310 metres. Oil, condensate and gas are all produced at Åsgard. Crude oil and condensate are mixed to form an oil grade called Åsgard Blend. The liquid is pumped from storage tanks over to shuttle tankers that sail between the field and various refineries.

NORTHERN LIGHTS – CO2 CAPTURE DOLWIN 5- WIND FARM

The Northern Lights project is part of the Norwegian full-scale CCS project called “Longship”. The full-scale project includes capture of CO2 from industrial capture sources in the Oslofjord region (cement and waste-to-energy) and shipping of liquid CO2 from these industrial capture sites to an onshore terminal on the Norwegian west coast. From there, the liquified CO2 will be transported by pipeline to an offshore storage location subsea in the North Sea, for permanent storage.

THAI OIL CLEAN FUELS PROJECT – SRIRACHA REFINERY

The project transformed the existing oil refinery in Sriracha, Chonburi, into an environmentally-friendly facility, which produces higher quality transportation fuels. The project had the scope to increase the refinery’s production capacity from 275,000 barrels per day to 400,000 barrels per day.

SAKARYA GAS FIELD DEVELOPMENT, BLACK SEA

TPAO discovered the Sakarya gas field by drilling the Tuna-1 ultra-deepwater exploration well, using its sixth-generation ultra-deepwater drillship Fatih, in August 2020. The first phase of the field involves the production of natural gas from ten wells using the subsea production system. The gas is transported onshore via a carbon steel pipeline to be processed at an onshore production facility in in Çaycuma district in Zonguldak.
