APPLICATIONS OF OUR VALVES

The ever-changing needs of our Customers drive us to offer continuous innovation and an improved valve range

Thanks to a well-trained team of skilled and experienced staff, Erreesse accurately engineers each valve according to all customer requirements.
Erreesse production range includes a wide variety of very versatile Trunnion and Floating ball valves suitable for high-risk industrial applications, withstanding pressures up to 2500 bar and temperatures down to -196°C (-320,8°F) or up to 850°C (1562°F) with sizes range from ½” to 72”.
Erreesse ball valves are an excellent choice for shutoff applications and process services.

High performance valves for extreme applications

There are many critical applications which are challenging to the valve’s ability to provide acceptable duration and performance. Our special products are designed to appropriately handle severe service applications, from acid solutions for corrosive environments or have higher cycle frequencies, high pressure and temperatures.

Applications

The application and the process fluid characteristics are the main factors in selecting a valve type and construction materials. The right, conscious and diligent selection of both non-metallic and metallic materials along with their proper handling are very important issues from a safety viewpoint.

icon high pressure

High Pressure

20 bar to 1030 bar

Design pressure from 20 bar(g) to 1035 bar(g), in combination with other service conditions in hydrocarbon processes, refining, petro-chemistry, determinates ball valve construction and material selection. This application can exist in combination with other service conditions, including corrosive & dirty applications with toxic substances, flammable liquids (LNG, LPG or NGL condensate) or generic hydrocarbon gas in high pressure or high temperature applications.
icon utility

Utility

0° to 120°C (32° to 248°F)

Instrument air, diesel oil, lube oil, demineralized water, steam, nitrogen and other produced gas are considered as clean services for utility applications: low pressure applications, on top side above ground and below ground installations, from 0° to 120°C (32° to 248°F), carrying standard non corrosive and clean fluids, free from solid particles or aggressive contaminants, providing just a service to main processes. This application allows a wide range of valves without any particular or special requirement on cleanliness and material selection: soft seated low-pressure trunnion & floating ball valves in side entry or top entry construction with fully welded, threaded, split, modular & multiple way body.

Corrosive & Dirty

Aggressive and solid contaminants

Depending on concentration, temperature and pressure drop the exposed to fluid surfaces can be seriously damaged impairing the performance of the valve, unless the correct valve type and materials are selected. Those services where the process fluid may contain aggressive contaminants or suspended solid particles are typically identified as corrosive & dirty applications. Erreesse valve ranges includes special models suitable for severe abrasive, slurry, scaling, fouling and solidifying services. This application can exist in combination with other services or applications, including toxic substances like Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH), Chlorines (Cl), flammable liquids (LNG, LPG or NGL condensate) or generic hydrocarbon gas in high pressure, cryogenic or high temperature applications.
Icon High temperature

High Temperature

121° to 1100°C (249,8° to 2012°F)

Heating to boiling points, catalytic and hydro-treatments are some of the refining processes necessary to separate crude oil into storable fractions like marketable oils and condensate; most of these processes occure at high temperatures, from 121°C to 700°C (249,8°C to 1292°F). Erreesse can provide valves engineered to withstand and exceed high temperature applications with specific constructions and duly selected materials, where the direct use of steam, hot water, with abrasive and highly corrosive chemicals and minerals could foul, erode, and damage standard equipment, offering unique features that make them an excellent choice for hot water (geothermal brine) and similar services. This application can exist in combination with other service conditions, including corrosive & dirty applications with toxic substances, flammable liquids (LNG, LPG or NGL condensate) or generic hydrocarbon gas in high pressure or cryogenic applications.

Low Temperature

0° to -50°C (32° to -58°F)

When Natural Gas has to be separated into fractions or treated to protect equipment from contaminants (acids), first stage of sweetering and acid removal at 0° to -50°C (32° to -58°F), are the pre-cooling processes necessary before gas liquefaction stage; propane or a mixture with other gases in small quantities is the cooling element. Erreesse valves range offer a wide selection of models suitable for low temperature applications. This application can exist in combination with other service conditions, including corrosive & dirty applications with toxic substances, flammable liquids (LNG, LPG or NGL condensate) or generic hydrocarbon gas in high pressure or high temperature applications.

Cryogenic

-51° to -196°C (-59,8° to -320,8°F)

When Natural Gas has to be separated into fractions or treated to protect equipment from contaminants (acids), sweetering and acid removal at -51° to -196°C (-59,8° to -320,8°F), are the final stage to do so, starting from liquefaction to sub-cooling stages, with pure or mixed refrigerants (methane, nitrogen) as cooling elements. Erreesse production program offers special valve solutions engineered to suit cryogenic processes with specific constructions and duly selected materials.  This application can exist in combination with other service conditions, including corrosive & dirty applications with toxic substances, flammable liquids (LNG, LPG or NGL condensate) or generic hydrocarbon gas in high pressure or high temperature applications.

Subsea

Water depth 3000 m (10000 ft)

ERREESSE Subsea bai! valves have been designed to meet the most criticai and hostile conditions in the subsea environment and underwater installations at extreme pressures and high levels concentrations of H2S, CO2 or solid particles. These valves are engineered to meet API 6D55 & API 17D Standards for Subsea installations down to 3000m (10000ft) water depth; they can be manufactured in different constructions, with bolted body Side entry or Top entry and Fully welded body, to suit the most demanding Customer specifications. ERREESSE Subsea ball valves can be supplied complete with subsea gearbox or actuator and customized ROV couplings (horizontal or vertical). In-house hyperbaric testing can be performed upon request.
