Erreesse has its own in-house testing department: all inspections and tests are performed by qualified and experienced personnel

Quality is a word that embodies a world of meanings, all with a positive connotation; unfortunately, an abuse of this term leads us today to a sterile document but, Quality cannot exist without Passion.

Our quality is not only the use of raw materials and components certified for origin and duration over time; not only the search for stable and efficient suppliers who share the same standards as Erreesse. The largest test bench in Europe

ERREESSE owns the largest test bench in Europe to perform in safety conditions hydrostatic, pneumatic and high pressure gas testing on valves up to 72”. This test bench has an official capacity of 4000 tons with a very maximum capacity of 6000 served by a 100 tons overhead crane. A CCTV operating system allows inspectors and operators to monitor valve performance during testing outside the testing area, in complete safety, with a mobile 360° camera that can be maneuvered to have complete visual access to all testing activities.

Pressure & Functional Testing

The following tests can be performed according to API 6D, API 6DSS, API 598, EN12266-1 or to customer specific requirements:

Hydrostatic testing

Low pressure gas seat testing

High pressure gas testing

Cryogenic gas testing (-196°C/-320,8°F)

High temperature testing (660°C/1220°F)

Fugitive emission gas testing

Antistatic testing

Torque testing

Cavity relief testing

Double Block & Bleed (DBB) testing

Double Isolation & Bleed (DIB-1&2) testing

Hyperbaric qualification testing

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

The following tests can be performed by II level qualified personnel in accordance with EN473-ISO9712 / SNT-TC-1A:

VT (Visual testing)

UT (Ultrasonic testing)

PT (Penetrant testing)

MT (Magnetic particle testing by Joke)

PMI (Positive Material Identification)

Hardness test

Ferrite test

Material Destructive Testing

Thanks to a strong cooperation with Chemical Laboratories the following tests can be performed according to Customer’s and project specification requirements:

Mechanical and Impact test down to –196°C

Chemical analysis check

Corrosion tests

Micro examinations

Ferrite check

Hydrogen-Inducted Cracking test (HIC)

Sulphide Stress Corrosion Cracking (SSCC)
